This piece is a lovely scene recreation from Aladdin. The lines are clean and precise, on Jafar, Iago, and the staff. The light shading adds depth, especially to the staff where the artist separates the cobra's hood from its cheek. Other details are a bit of a sharp nail on Jafar. Nice use of perspective tilts the staff, since we're seeing the underside of the cobra.

The artist has captured the relaxed jaw of Jafar. The gentle mouth lines and gently-arched eyebrows contribute to this relaxed state as well. The artist has rendered the shape of the upper lip well, how it lifts slightly on either side of the middle. The nose is fairly sharp, suggesting a beak. Shading falls on Jafar's nose, eyes and forehead, making the drawing look more lifelike. The bottom and the middle of the turban are visible, and is rounded in shape, completing Jafar in his deceptively softer state. The varying gray and black shades on his turban suggest the angle from which it's being viewed. One half of the feather is shaded, drawing attention to the feather. The jewel shines with some lighter shading.

The position of Iago's cheek makes it look like he has crackers in his mouth. His break looks like it's almost resting on his chest, or at least his jaw is drawn up close to the rest of his body. There's some dark around his eyes, making him look angry. There's shading on the front of his left wing and under the wing, on his cheek, and the top of his beak, indicating where the light is coming from. Iago's belly protrudes, indicating his plumpness. Despite his bad mood, his feet are resting casually on Jafar's shoulder.

The work is striking and visually dynamic, engaging the viewer's eye immediately.
